Cut-off Risers
Cut-off lawn sprinkler risers contain multiple sets of threads that can be cut off to the desired height for sprinklers and drip irrigation installation retrofit projects. Made from flexible poly plastic, cut off risers are designed to act as a "shock absorber" to help prevent damage to the sprinkler pop-up or rotor when stepped on or run over.
Available in 1/2" and 3/4", sprinkler cut off risers allow for quick and easy installation of sprinkler pop ups and rotors. Molded from black flexible polyethylene, cut off risers are easy to cut with a PVC pipe cutter, hacksaw, utility knife or drip tubing cutter.
Because of its unique thread design, no teflon tape is required when installing a sprinkler cut off riser. Simply cut the irrigation cut off riser to the proper length, screw one end of the cut off riser into the PVC fitting coming from the irrigation pipe and then screw your sprinkler pop up or rotor onto the other end of the cut off riser.
