Unions Slip x Fipt Sch 40 White

Schedule 40 PVC Unions are designed to fit two PVC pipes together and act just like a coupling, but unlike a coupling, PVC Union Fittings can be easily removed and replaced. When used on irrigation valve installations, Schedule 40 Unions can allow for a quick and easy valve change outs when repairs are needed. They can also be used on temporary PVC lines and removed when no longer needed. Available in sizes 1/2" through 3".

     *Teflon tape required for all threaded PVC pipe coupling connections

The term “Schedule 40” refers to the strength and thickness of the PVC pipe or PVC fitting and how much pressure it can hold. It’s designed to handle water pressures of 120 psi and water temperatures up to 140 degrees. Meets NSF and ASTM D2466 requirements. Manufactured from PVC Type 1, Grade 1.
