Schedule 80 PVC Male Adapters are used to convert PVC pipe slip ends to Male Pipe Threads. Ideal when connecting items with Female Pipe Threads, such as Irrigation Valves, Threaded Ball Valves and Backflow Devices. Available in sizes 1/4" through 4".
Available in Slip by Pipe Thread PVC Adapter Fittings and Reducing PVC Adapters. Also available in Spig by Male Pipe Thread PVC Adapters.
*PVC primer and glue are required for all slip PVC connections
*Teflon tape required for all threaded PVC connections
The term “Schedule 80” refers to the strength and thickness of the PVC pipe or PVC fitting and how much pressure it can hold. It’s designed to handle water pressures of 300 psi and water temperatures up to 140 degrees and are usually use in projects that support higher pressures. Meets NSF and ASTM D2464 and D2467 requirements. Manufactured from PVC Type 1, Grade 1.
