Snap Tees Sch 40
Schedule 40 PVC Snap Tees are designed to add a Tee to a ridge PVC line. Glue the PVC pipe and PVC fitting then snap the tee onto the PVC pipe. Then use a drill to cut a hole in the top of the PVC pipe, through the center socket and glue your PVC pipe into place. PVC snap tees are ideal when running a new branch of PVC pipe in a main line or lateral line. PVC snap tees are available in sizes 1/2" through 4".

The term “Schedule 40” refers to the strength and thickness of the PVC pipe or PVC fitting and how much pressure it can hold. It’s designed to handle water pressures of 120 psi and water temperatures up to 140 degrees. Meets NSF and ASTM D2466 requirements. Manufactured from PVC Type 1, Grade 1.
