Schedule 40 PVC Female Adapters are used to convert PVC pipe slip ends to Female Pipe Threads. Ideal when connecting items with Male Pipe Threads, such as Schedule 80 Risers. Available in sizes 1/4" through 4".
Available in Slip by Pipe Thread PVC Adapter Fittings and Reducing PVC Adapters. Also available in Spig by Female Pipe Thread PVC Adapters.
*PVC primer and glue are required for all slip PVC connections 
*Teflon tape required for all threaded PVC connections
The term “Schedule 40” refers to the strength and thickness of the PVC pipe or PVC fitting and how much pressure it can hold. It’s designed to handle water pressures of 120 psi and water temperatures up to 140 degrees. Meets NSF and ASTM D2466 requirements. Manufactured from PVC Type 1, Grade 1.
