CPVC Tees Sch 80
Schedule 80 CPVC tees allow a PVC line to be split into two lines with a connection that is at a 90 degree lateral angle. Ideal when running a new branch of PVC pipe in a main line or lateral line. CPVC (Chlorinated polyvinyl chloride) is similar to PVC but the addition of chlorine reduces the reaction to heat and corrosive damage and allows the fitting to retain its mechanical strength. Available in sizes 1/4" through 8".
Available in Slip CPVC Tee Fittings and Threaded CPVC Pipe Tees.
*PVC primer and glue are required for all slip PVC connections
*Teflon tape required for all threaded PVC connections
The term “Schedule 80” refers to the strength and thickness of the PVC pipe or PVC fitting and how much pressure it can hold. CPVC Schedule 80 fittings are designed to handle water pressures of 300 psi and water temperatures up to 200 degrees and are usually use in projects that support higher pressures. Meets NSF and ASTM F-437 and F-439 requirements. Manufactured from CPVC 23447-B Gray.
