Drip Pro Digital Water Timer: DD-DWT673

The Drip Pro Digital Water Timer from Irrigation Direct is a battery operated timer that is used to automate the watering for a Drip Irrigation system. It connects to a standard hose bibb, faucet, spigot or any water source with ¾” MHT. It will also connect to a Y ball valve which gives you access for a garden hose.

The timer comes with 8 independent start and stop times with watering run times from 1 minute to 23 hours and 59 minutes. It has a seven day programmable calendar with 8 calendar presets and has a large digital display with labeled control buttons for easy programming.

The hose timer runs on 2 AAA batteries and will last a full year on fresh pair. To install the batteries, simply remove the battery cover on the front side of the timer and place the batteries with the polarity as shown on the battery holder.

When installing the batteries, you will hear the timer’s motor activate for about 5 seconds. This is the timer’s startup mode and it insures that the internal ball valve is in the off position.

The Timer comes with a ¾” FHT inlet and a ¾” MHT outlet. It also has an adjustable lock nut that allows you to reposition the unit. Its maximum pressure input is 80 psi and its maximum flow output is 4 gallons per minute (= to 240 GPH).

As with all hose threads, no Teflon tape is required. A standard hose washer is used to make a water tight seal.

Installing a Drip Pro Digital Water Timer is quick and easy.

Simply screw the hose timer onto your desired water source. Hand tighten to make a water tight seal. To reposition, turn the lock ring to the left and turn the timer upright, then turn the lock ring to the right and lock into place.

For added protection against the elements, the timer comes with a protective cover which screws onto the unit.
