¾” In Line Hose Thread Ball Valve: DD-BV75
The In Line Hose Thread Ball Valve from Irrigation Direct is used with drip irrigation to shut off or control the flow of individual water lines. It can be attached to a hose bibb, faucet, spigot or at the end of a garden hose.
It has a ¾” female hose thread inlet and ¾” male hose thread outlet.
As with all hose threads, no Teflon tape is required. A standard hose washer is used to make a water tight seal.
Installing an in line hose thread ball valve is quick and easy.
Simply screw the ball valve onto the desired water source you need to control. Hand tighten the ball valve to make a water tight seal.
To operate, simply move the control lever to the desired position. When the lever is in line, the ball valve is fully opened. When the lever is parallel, the ball valve is fully closed.
The flow of water can be controlled by moving the lever back and forth.

A Paper Clip Quickly Cleans a Hole Punch
Insert the wire to clear the tool
A good hole punch will actually cut a tiny circle out of the drip tubing. The plug of tubing can be removed from the cutting edge of the punch with a paper clip. Push it through the cutting end to clear any plastic debris.
Fix Little Holes With a Goof Plug
Doubles as a 1/4" end plug
If you make a mistake and poke a hole in the wrong place on a drip line, insert a goof plug (small barb). If the hole gets worn and leaks a little, pull the plug out and use the large barbed end. Goof plus are also used to plug the end of 1/4" micro tubing.
Threaded End Caps Make Winterizing Easy
Unscrew cap to flush or drain drip tubing
Install them now and thank yourself later. A threaded cap at the end of the drip line allows you to flush the line to clean it and drain the line of water before freezing winter temperatures set in. Learn more about winterizing your irrigation system.
