1/2" .700 OD Black Ring Compression Fittings
The 700 series compressions fittings are designed to be used with .700 OD drip irrigation poly tubing. Made from high quality plastic with maximum UV protection recommended operating pressure of 10 to 30 PSI. Its maximum operating pressures is 60 PSI. When choosing 700 series compression fittings, look for the black compression rings at ends of the fitting. The black ring indicates 700 size.
Compressing fittings work by way of an internal compression ring that squeezes the outside diameter of the drip tubing as it is inserted into the fitting. The angle of the compression fitting ring bites into the soft tubing to prevent it from slipping off and also creates a water tight seal. Compression fittings are more of a permanent connection and are not recommended for reuse. For reusable/removable drip fittings, please see our Direct-Loc fittings section.
Glue or lubricants are not required with compression fittings
