Product Description
A compression adapter allows you to convert a 1/2" PVC slip fitting to a drip tubing compression fitting. This compression adapter fitting is glued into a 1/2" PVC elbow, coupling, or tee and converts it to a 580 drip tubing compression fitting.
Great for sprinkler-to-drip retrofit projects. Install a drip regulator and filter near your sprinkler system valve. Connect it to the existing PVC pipe. Cap off sprinklers and add compression adapters to your existing PCV pipe out in the field. Run drip mainline from there.

Installation
Step 1: Glue PVC Fitting
Put a small amount of PVC glue in the inside of the 1/2" PVC slip fitting (tee shown)
Step 2: Glue Compression Adapter
Put a small amount of PVC glue in the outside of the compression adapter
Step 3: Assemble PVC Fitting and Adapter
Firmly press compression adapter into 1/2" PVC fitting.
Do it quickly before the glue sets.
Push until it bottoms out.
Step 4: Install Drip Tubing
Your PVC fitting is now ready to accept the drip tubing.
Simply push the drip tubing into the compression adapter.
